Dear StartSOMA,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to show you my
artwork.

I am a filipino artist living in the bay area. My
work represents my attempts at creating inviting
images with the conceptual use of color combinations,
textures and the the human figure.

My major influences have been contemporary filipino
and asian art, the bay area figureative painters,
films, and comic books.

The goal of my work is to somehow provide a bridge
between different types of genres. Particularly
between the genres of representational and abstract as
well as between contemporary asian and modern american
art.

By successfully fulfilling this goal, I hope to find
through my journey, an overall success of critical
acclaim and recognition. So that more doors will be
opened to individuals with the same song to sing.
