A LETTER to AN OLD FRIEND

we were friends once
walked side by side
when i was younger

our conversations
strengthened me
and made me

imagine

imagine things
that hardly traveled through anyone else's mind

we were inseparable

i hardly see you now
and when i do
you are a shock of electricity
that envigorates me for a short moment
then leaves me

lifeless

wondering
when you will return

how did i loose you?
how did i find my self without you

did knowledge
and wisdom

drive you away?

i need to know
i need to know why
i need to know how i can get you back

because i need you

i miss you

i miss you creativity.
