Just Not in the Cards
Today is a must win for the Golden State Warriors. If they lose tonight, they are out of the playoffs. I wanted to be at the game but I couldn't spend that much money on tickets. This year is my 10 year anniversary, so I have to be a bit frugal so that i could use the funds for our vacations.
So a co-worker told me she knew someone who had good tickets to the game for a good price. She described where they were and i trusted that she knew what she was saying. I texted the guy and told him i was interested. then he told me the exact location of the seats. these seat were nosebleeds!
So the price wasn't that good at all. I was disappointed. I told him that i was under the impression that they were better seats. so i managed to get him to lower the price to 25% lower. Done deal. I transferred the money to him and went to the gym to workout.
While at the gym, my buddy texts me and asked if i already got tix. i said "yes". and he said "oh man i was gonna give you mine."
I got disappointed again. but it was cool, i still had tix to the game.
then i got a text from the guy who sold me the tix saying that he had sold them to someone else! W. T. F.!
now, i'm stuck without a ticket when i coulda gone for free.
That's just wack
