Albert Einstein once said that Imagination is greater than Knowledge.

I'm not one to argue with a genius,
but I would think that
a combination of both
would be even greater.

I think the reason why he made such a remark
was that so many people thought he was great because of the things he knew.

He needed to point out that
it wasn't what he knew that made him what he was,
but it was the imagination
that led him to learn
the things he knew.

His day dreams

His walks within the worlds of his mind
was what turned him into such a genius.

I am learning from his mentality and philosophy.

Although I strive to acquire as much knowledge
about the artworld as I can,
I want to focus less on acquiring information
and more on translating that information
and responding to it
within my imagination
and outwards
towards my paintings

What I hope to present
is a unique visual experience
that shows knowledge of the existing artworld,
and a response to that world
which is born out of my imagination
