I'm doing a portrait for a book cover.

it's been about two years since i did a portrait
i guess i wanted to explore
and see what else i'm good at...
so i started painting toys
and color fields

i love paintings these things equally

but then i started painting my portrait
and it felt so natural
i don't mean to say that portraits are my best form of painting

but it feels the most comfortable

maybe it's my calling
my home

do i need to go home?
